If you had the world's attention for just a moment, what would you say? This is what I asked myself a few weeks ago. I quickly decided that if the whole world could hear my voice, I would testify of Jesus Christ and His self-less Atonement. In the most important act of all time, Jesus Christ voluntarily gave His life- His spotless, perfect life for each and every human being to ever walk the earth. "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us..." (1 John 3:16). I know He lives today.
When the angels announced His humble arrival to the world, they told the shepards "unto you is born...a Savior". Unto you, unto me, unto every individual was born a Savior. His Atonement is that personal. I'm forever grateful for what I'll never be able to repay. One of my favorite songs says "If I can't convince the world, then perhaps I'll reach a soul." We may not be able to reach the whole world at once, but as we strive to develop attributes of Jesus Christ, He can work through us to touch one soul at a time. Let's remember Jesus Christ this Easter Sunday and every day, and be doers of His word, not hearers only. Here is a powerful witness of the Savior's death and Resurrection.
